As we remember the great civil rights activist, Martin Luther King Jr., we are reminded not only of his effect on social equality, but equality in other areas as well. MLK once said, “Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane.” MLK believed in equality regarding health care which is still a hot topic in society today, as we are in the midst of the health care reform going on in the United States. It is great to know that MLK had a dream, and we are fulfilling his dreams to this day. We hope you all enjoy this holiday and have time to reflect on MLK’s ideas for society.
