Super scrubs, as writer Deanna Pogorelc calls them, are new antimicrobial scrubs developed by Vestagen Technical Technologies. They were developed to address the problem of doctors carrying, spreading, and catching infections from their scrubs. Their new fabrics repel liquids and resist bacteria while increasing comfort at the same time. They aren’t only limited to scrubs! Lab coats are also available. The antimicrobials in the fabric essentially kill microorganisms as soon as they come in contact with the material.
