Dixon grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. After attending college in Chapel Hill, he moved to St. John for a year. Resisting the allure of the islands, he made his way back to Chapel Hill for law school and has lived there ever since. During law school, he began working at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, assisting the school’s entrepreneurs. Following this, he worked as a litigator for the North Carolina Department of Justice. He enjoys working with clients and providers alike making sure great healthcare for a community is achieved each time. He enjoys cooking, reading, golf, disc golf, grilling and generally being outdoors. The newest addition to his family, Beck, a lab mix, has quickly taken over all his free time. He and his wife Lauren are expecting their first child in early 2023.
